1 dead, 1 injured after double shooting, crash in Philadelphia’s Rhawnhurst neighborhood

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — One man is dead and another is in critical condition after both were shot in the head in Philadelphia on Sunday night.

It happened around 8 p.m. at the 8300 block of Bustleton Avenue in the Rhawnhurst neighborhood.

Both victims, identified as in their mid-20s, were found in a dark-colored Nissan Altima that crashed into a fire hydrant and utility pole on Bustleton Avenue.

Police say the car was recently involved in another accident about a mile away.

Investigators still do not know where the shooting took place and are still searching for the location of this shooting.

These two victims are among six people shot dead since 6:30 p.m. Sunday night.
