1 dead, 4 injured in 2 separate shootings in Philadelphia

Anyone with information about either shooting is being asked to call the police.
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — One person was killed and four others injured, including a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old, in two separate shootings within three hours in Philadelphia.
The first incident began around 11:15 p.m. Thursday at Block 5100 of Leiper Street in Frankford.
Two men and a woman were shot dead, police said.
One of the men was pronounced dead at a local hospital, but the other two victims were in stable condition.
Police said 20 shell casings were found at the scene and four cars were shot on the block.
Two of the victims of the shooting may have been in a car, police said.
Officials are now checking surveillance cameras in the area.
The second shooting took place at 1:44 a.m. Friday near North 24th Street and Jefferson Street in North Philadelphia.
According to the police, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old were injured.
According to police, the two tried to steal a car in the area. Officers are now looking for surveillance video but said the shots were fired during the escape.
The 18-year-old was seriously injured and the 16-year-old was listed in stable condition.
