BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Someone was grazed by what is being investigated as a possible shooting early Monday on the Intercounty Connector in Montgomery County.
Maryland Transportation Authority police said officers were called to the ICC near the Shady Grove Road exit just before 1 a.m. in response to reports of a vehicle that may have been hit.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the driver of a pickup truck, who said he was driving west on the ICC when he noticed a black sedan approaching him, followed by a “loud noise” and flashing lights, police said.
The driver told investigators he continued along the road for a short distance before passing the vehicle and calling police.

Responders found evidence that the van was hit by a bullet in the passenger-side sliding door. In addition, they found a passenger with a graze wound on his chin, police said.
Passengers were handled and released at the scene.
