12 Best Subscription Boxes for Kids (2023): All Ages, STEM, Books, and Snacks

Here’s a suggestion: Instead of delighting your child with a big, expensive gift once or twice a year that will eventually be put aside, why not surprise them with a small, adorable package once a month? I have two children, a 5 year old and a 7 year old, and her Love It’s when something comes in the mail that isn’t an invoice, a replacement Amazon charger, or a Garnet Hill catalogue.

Subscription boxes can be useful additions to distance learning. They also come in handy around the house when you can’t send your sniffing kid to school or a big indoor birthday party. As a bonus, they are usually affordable! I tested some of the subscriptions on this list and bought others for my kids and their friends. These are our favourites.

Updated May 2023: We’ve added the Little Passports Craft Discovery Kit, Bake Eat Love Kit, Raddish Kids, Cricket Magazine, removed older picks, and updated links and prices.
