17 skeletons unearthed at medieval friary in UK

Archaeologists in Pembrokeshire, Wales, have discovered the remains of 17 skeletons in a cemetery they believe are the remains of St Saviour’s Church, archaeologists say.

Fran Murphy, head of archaeological services at the Dyfed Archaeological Trust, which is excavating the site, told Live Science: “The frigate existed from the mid-1200s until its dissolution in 1536- 1541.
