2 people shot and killed in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood

SEATTLE – Police are investigating after two people were shot dead in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle early Tuesday morning.

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) first tweeted about the 4700 block of Meridian Ave North shooting just before 1 am The shooting took place directly across from the Meridian Playground.

What led to the shooting is not known at this time. No suspicious information has been released at this time.
