2 teens injured in shooting at Kruse Playground in Wilmington, Delaware

WILMINGTON, Delaware (WPVI) — Police in Wilmington, Delaware are investigating a shooting that left two teenagers injured at a playground.

It happened around 5pm on Thursday in the 1300 block of Clifford Brown Walk.

Police say two teenagers, a 16-year-old man and a 14-year-old woman, were shot in the legs at the Kruse Playground, which is down the street from Howard High School of Technology.

The victims were taken to two nearby hospitals and placed in stable condition.

Officials told Action News that the youths are not attending the nearby school.

No arrests were made at this time.
