2022 Tony Awards: Full list of winners and nominees

NEW YORK CITY, NY — Broadway’s biggest night will honor the current season — with a whopping 34 new productions — marking a full return to theaters after nearly two years of a pandemic-related shutdown.

Heading to Sunday night’s Tony Awards, “A Strange Loop,” Michael R. Jackson’s critically acclaimed theatrical meta-travel musical, which earned 11 leading nominations.

Just behind “A Strange Loop” is a 10-nomination-each tie for “MJ,” a bio-musical of the King of Pop jam-packed with his greatest hits, and “Paradise Square,” a musical about Irish immigrants and black Americans living in America struggling to survive in Civil War-era New York City.
