3 killed in early-morning Yakima shooting, carjacking

YAKIMA, Wash. – Three people were killed early Tuesday morning following a shooting at a Yakima convenience store, Yakima Police Chief Matt Murray confirmed.

The suspect then apparently crossed the street and shot at another vehicle and stole that vehicle. According to Murray, the suspect then fled east on Nob Hill onto Highway 24.

The suspect’s vehicle was described by Murray as a gray or silver sedan, possibly a Chrysler 200.

The location and identity of the suspect are still unknown at this time, but Murray said some images from the scene will be released soon.
