49-year-old actress Kate Beckinsdale denies reports of having a facelift… But her face looks toned!!
Actress Kate Beckinsale recently walked the red carpet at the 2023 Cannes Festival and showed off what appeared to be a brand new face.
The actress looked “refreshed” as she wore a green semi-sheer dress that showed off her incredibly toned abs and legs. Media releases confirmed that there was no doubt that the star was shining. But online critics were more concerned about her face than her outfit, insisting that Beckinsale had undergone plastic surgery, Botox and fillers.
Over the weekend, Kate tried her best to set the record straight.
“At the Pot au Feu premiere at the 76th Cannes Festival in my dream dress – I remember my first time on these stairs 30 years ago in threadbare Dr. Martens shoes with steel toe cap. Both magical 💚,” Beckinsale captioned her photo before drama erupted in the comments section.
“Please tell me you’ve had a facelift because it’s not possible to look this gorgeous at 50 ❤️❤️❤️,” one well-meaning fan wrote.
“I’m not sorry,” Beckinsale (who turns 50 next month) replied. “Maybe everything will start falling in July lol x.”
“Lol why do celebrities have to refuse facials? Just don’t lie about it. She still looks great!” another commented.
“I haven’t had a facelift, fillers or Botox. “I don’t lie and I don’t have to accept people accusing me of things I didn’t do,” Beckinsale wrote back.
“Very pretty! Oh wait! She’s getting Botox and fillers done! Each to their own…just admit it and it’s so obvious,” another commented.
“I’m not doing that,” Beckinsale wrote, ending the rumors once and for all. “Actually I can’t, I have a condition called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome which is actually a massive daily battle and means I react badly to hundreds of things. I can’t take the risk.”
