5 suspects arrested in marijuana dispensary burglary in Fairfax

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, five people were arrested Tuesday morning in connection with a burglary at a marijuana dispensary in the Fairfax District.

According to an LAPD press release, officers responded to a call at about 12:18 a.m. at Block 7500 of Melrose Avenue.

When they got to the back of the marijuana dispensary, they saw four to five men trying to climb the back gate. The back door of the infirmary had been forced open. Some of the suspects climbed onto the roof of the building when they saw the police while two others ran back into the building.

Officers called in reinforcements and the LAPD air force closed in on the area, police said.

Five men, including a minor, have been arrested and are charged with burglary.

At least one suspect fled in a white Dodge Charger and was still at large as of Tuesday morning.
