50 Cent Tells Quavo To ‘Make The Best Music’ Following Takeoff’s Death

50 Cent offered some advice to Quavo, who is grieving the loss of his nephew Takeoff.

“That’s really how it goes @quavohuncho, you have to position this album for Take Off’s legacy, make a few changes and address everything that all artists make of painful moments to make the best music. RIP to pop smoke đź•ŠRIP to TakeOff #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi,” he captioned a video of music executive Steven Victor discussing his client, Pop Smoke, who was fatally shot last year.

Viral video of the shooting shows Quavo getting into a heated argument with someone. Moments later, you can hear the sound of multiple gunshots and see people fleeing the bullets. Takeoff was not involved in the argument but was hit by stray bullets. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Takeoff was only 28 years old at the time of his death. They had attended a private party at a bowling alley.
