Larissa dos Santos Lima, former cast member of 90 Day Fiancé, announced that she was fired from TLC when she finally released a very sexy and adult video on Cam Soda. The network felt that this type of work is not what viewers wanted to see. This layoff prompted Larissa to start posting more adult content and ended up making a lot more money than she did on TLC.

There were many reasons why Larissa was fired from the network, and on social media she decided to share what happened and how her manager cheated on her. It’s been two years since she was last on TLC and during a week of her life she went through some very horrific events.

One was fired from TLC and the other when she was arrested by ICE. All of this happened when she and her ex-boyfriend, Eric Nichols, moved to Colorado to start a new life together.

In her last post on Instagram, she wrote: “Today is an emotional time for me to reflect. Exactly two years ago to the day, I was fired from TLC. The truth is: I trusted my “manager” at the time, who assured me that she spoke to the network before I did a cam show that changed my life forever. So many people posting reasons for my departure right now with some people from my past back on screen but not aware of backstage.

New performers, you don’t have to fight the network or need a manager. Trust me. My management didn’t communicate with the network and it was a betrayal of trust in their eyes, I wasn’t getting paid thousands but pennies from the company but I was naïve and at the time all bad publicity was good publicity. I’ve been offered shows by other channels, but I think I left TV at the right time. I left TLC with some good memories and I’m grateful for the experience and the memories.”

She continued, “In this time of reflection I see that I have everything I need in my life and I am content. My friends and family know the true untold story and one day I will explain it in detail. Thanks again TLC. It was the saddest time of my life, but I’ve grown as a person.”
