Aaron Carter’s fiancee says coroner’s report left her with ‘more questions’: It’s ‘not a degree for me’

Aaron Carter’s fiancee Melanie Martin has said the singer’s newly released autopsy report left her with “more questions” after his death in November 2022.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s report revealed Tuesday (April 18) that Carter accidentally drowned in his bathtub after taking tranquilizers and inhaling a gas used in spray cleaners.
The singer and younger brother of Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter was 34 years old.
However, Martin told it later TMZ that “the results of the autopsy are not a conclusion for me”.
She continued: “They claim the death was by drowning but also adds that he was wearing a t-shirt and necklace in the bath which doesn’t make sense. Why would he be clothed in a bathtub?
“I’m still in shock and I still miss Aaron every day. I don’t understand the chain of events and this report only leads us to ask more questions.”
Accordingly US WeeklyMartin and Carter started dating in 2020. They became engaged in June of that year and Martin later gave birth to their son, Prince Lyric Carter, in November 2021.
Carter announced on Twitter in February 2022 that he and Martin would have to “break up.”

According to the autopsy report, Carter was found with the sedative Alprazolam, often sold under the brand name Xanax, in his system. The compressed gas difluoroethane was also detected in his system, which the report says “can induce euphoric feelings when inhaled.”
The autopsy was performed the day after Carter’s death, but the results were withheld for toxicology tests, which often take months.
A spokesman confirmed the news The Independent He wrote at the time: “We are extremely saddened and shocked to confirm today the death of Aaron Carter.”
In recent years, Carter had suffered from substance abuse and was involved in a number of drug-related arrests.
