Passengers were stunned when a pop superstar was spotted flying in economy class.

Billie Eilish was recently spotted boarding a flight by an amused fan who couldn’t believe his luck.

Afterwards, the American singer and songwriter enjoyed her journey in the carriage cabin.

It’s unclear where Billie, 21, was traveling, but the plane didn’t appear to have a first-class cabin.

Billie also shared a selfie on social media showing her on board the plane.

A passenger caught a glimpse of the Ocean Eyes singer and posted the short clip on TikTok.

They said, “POV: When you watch Billie Eilish for free.”

The Sun previously revealed how Billie, who rose to fame in 2015, recently moved out of her parents’ house.

She relocated from her California estate, where she wrote and recorded much of her music, after deciding to pursue more independence.

She is believed to have moved into a £1.9million Los Angeles home previously owned by Leona Lewis, which Billie bought when she was 17.

She explained: “There was a moment over the summer where I felt like I needed to grow up.

“For example: ‘I need space and my own this and my own that.'”

“I need that in a lot of ways, because that’s what you need as you get older, but now I’m also like, ‘I like being around my parents.'”

“I moved away. Now when I have a night off, I spend time with my parents. That’s the first thing I think of.”
