Aldi shoppers rush to buy £7 dupe of iconic designer perfume for £111 less – and they ‘absolutely love it’

ALDI shoppers have flocked to the £7 dupe for an iconic designer perfume that costs £118.
The discount supermarket is selling its own version of the famous Jo Malone scent – but for £111 less.
Aldi’s Hotel Collection No39 Poppy and Barley perfume is priced at just £6.99 for 100ml.
Shoppers shared the find on social media and described it as a dupe by Jo Malone’s Poppy and Barley Cologne.
One bargain hunter posted: “What kind of bluff is this?”
They shared a photo of the newly purchased Aldi perfume in its box.
One shopper said: “It’s my favorite, you don’t always get it, so get it when you can!!”
Another commented: “It’s a very nice dupe by Jo Malone Poppy & Barley. Smells great.”
A third wrote: “I absolutely love this perfume, everyone says it’s lovely when I wear it.”
A 100ml bottle of Jo Malone for men costs up to £118.
This means that with one bottle of Aldi’s Hotel Collection you will save a total of £111.
According to the supermarket, the scent has strong aromas of poppy and barley, mimicking Jo Malone’s top scents.
Shoppers can find Aldi’s perfume in-store, or if your store has a click-and-collect feature, you can also add it to your virtual cart.
To find your nearest store and if it does click and collect, visit the Aldi website.
Each store will have its own inventory of scents, and these types of items tend to sell out pretty quickly.
It’s always worth calling your local store in advance to check how much they have in stock.
You should smell it first to make sure you like the smell before you buy.
As always, make sure to have a store around before you commit to a purchase to ensure you always get the best deal.
We looked and couldn’t find any so-called replicas of this scent that could compete with Aldi’s price.
Perfume Online Divain sells a version for £24.50 for 100ml.
Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a dupe by another designer brand, shoppers have flocked to buy this YSL Black Opium dupe from Superdrug.
Plus, Aldi shoppers flocked to the £7 dupe of the £295 Creed Aventus.
Shoppers have previously described M&S’ Cool Vetiver, £9, a dupe for Creed Aventus.
Also, don’t forget to factor in delivery fees when shopping online.
You can use tools like Google shopping to compare prices, just search for the product you want.
Meanwhile, Aldi sold even more dupes – this time perfumes by Dior and Paco Rabbane.
Plus, Poundland shoppers are flocking to £2 dupe of an iconic designer perfume for £90 less than the original.
