All NB I-5 lanes in Federal Way blocked due to ‘major collision’

FEDERAL ROAD, Wash. — A “major collision” is blocking all but two lanes of northbound Interstate 5 on Federal Way just south of State Route 18 on Saturday morning.
The Washington State Department of Transportation said the fire was out by 7 a.m., WSDOT said drivers should avoid I-5 heading north of Fife and use alternative routes like State Route 99 if available. body. WSDOT Fire Brigade tweeted about the incident just after 6am
It is not yet known if anyone was injured. Emergency crews are at the scene. There is no estimated reopening time.
