Alleged drunk driver accidentally calls 911 because he was driving on the wrong side of the road

A man called 911 in Nebraska to report that he was nearly pulled off the road by a truck that was going “on the wrong side” of the freeway – only for police to realize the man was on the wrong side Page was the guy who called her !
Well, there’s no telling it was a fraudulent 911 call or a bug. The man who called the Nebraska emergency number to report that a vehicle was going the wrong way on the freeway was absolutely right. It’s just that the driver did it him!
The embarrassing video was shared by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office last Thursday and details a far from routine traffic stop that took place in March. And it all started with a serious phone call from a concerned driver.

Emergency dispatchers received a call from a man telling them that someone was driving their truck “on the wrong side” of the freeway and that they “almost ran it off the road.” Both parts of that statement were true…just not in the way the man thought they were.

The shaken driver was able to tell authorities fairly accurately where the frightening incident happened, allowing them to get to the scene of the accident fairly quickly and stop the truck.
As soon as the lights came on, the man realized what was really going on. It took officers a few moments to realize what had happened. All they knew was that they caught the man who was going the wrong way.
On the video, the officer asked the man if he knew why they stopped him. “Yes, because I was on the wrong side of the road,” he said, explaining that he must have missed the exit.

When he realized what had happened, he admitted to being the one who called 911 because he thought the truck that almost flattened him was going the wrong way, even though he did the whole thing time had been.
“I thought someone was on the wrong side, bro,” he told officers.
“But it turns out it was you?” replied the deputy.
“Yeah, like an idiot,” the driver admitted. Officers said they found he was driving with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit.
He was arrested at the scene and placed in the back seat of the patrol car, which took him the right way across the street back to the train station.
Be careful out there!
