Her outrage didn’t stop with Josh, however, as she believes Jim Bob and Michelle covered for him, which she described as “terrifying” and “nasty.”
“To think someone is worth more than someone else is just abhorrent,” she told the outlet. This latest scandal with Josh was the one that destroyed her connection with her family. “My final straw was the recent scandal with Josh. I can’t imagine protecting a predator,” she said. “I think this is the deepest of the deep, [and] there is no turning back.”
Amy was among the family members who took part in the four-part Amazon Prime docuseries Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets. Jim Bob and Michelle immediately denounced this on their website, calling it “degrading and sensationalist.”
