An upcoming Overwatch 2 event will reveal the next PvP beta test

PvP demo for Overwatch 2 coming to an end today, with lots of balance changes and character tweaks. Fan reaction seemed to be mixed with the lack of character changes, and we found the expansion to be not boring considering the amount of time we had to wait between versions. (Our friends at Destructoid think that’s for the best.) But even so, we’re not quite ready to drop the game, as the recent beta is just one of many promised betas. before the official release.

New characters and works are expected to come to life Overwatch 2. In time, certainly possible Overwatch 2 would feel like it justifies the big wait time of the official release. Hopefully, we’ll get a glimpse of that next time Overwatch 2 beta test, which is expected to be announced this June. In an official developer post about the end of the first beta, Blizzard has revealed that an event will be held, which is expected to reveal information about the sequel. Overwatch 2 beta testing.

What will happen next?

While it would certainly be nice to know when the next beta phase will begin rolling out, don’t expect much more than that in this announcement. Jon Spector, Overwatch commercial leader and VP at Blizzard, revealed in a tweet that the event will really be just “an announcement of a message.” If that’s the case, then I don’t expect any major information about new characters, maps, or remakes.

However, the Blizzard team is doing their best to stay in touch with Overwatch 2 fan. Plus, it clearly wants to make sure it can “establish a timeline” of what’s to come. Spector has said that we will get more news about Overwatch 2 between now and June, so there’s still a chance the information we get will be quite large. Either way, Blizzard is still in control Overwatch 2 train.
