Angry Rebekah Vardy hits back at Coleen Rooney, brands her ‘boring’ and says: ‘Go on – I don’t care’

REBEKAH Vardy slammed Coleen Rooney in an angry post, calling her “boring”.

Coleen, 37, finally broke her silence on her court battle in Wagatha Christie this week when she appeared on the cover of British Vogue.

Posting a bikini snap from her vacation, 41-year-old Becky took to Instagram’s comments section to speak up.

In response to a fan who referenced Coleen’s appearance in the fashion bible, she wrote, “Boring isn’t it?”

In another reply, Becky added, “Which I don’t understand why you keep wanting to bring it up.”

“Now it’s boring! The public doesn’t care and neither do I. She won, this is the end! Be happy to keep going…because I know I did.”

Coleen, wife of soccer player Wayne, will release a three-part documentary on Disney+ later this year that will chronicle the aftermath that followed after she first accused Becky of leaking stories about her to the press in October 2019.

After another of Becky’s fans mentioned the upcoming series, she quipped, “She just can’t help it.”

The War of the WAGs began when Coleen sensationally turned detective and tracked down a friend who was telling stories to the media.

In October 2019, she posted her now-infamous tweet and ended it with the jaw-dropping line, “It’s…Rebekah Vardy’s account.”

Rebekah sued Coleen for defamation and denied that she was the media source. But in July last year, she lost the case when a judge found Coleen’s story “essentially true.”

Jamie Vardy’s wife had claimed the Instagram post cost her a book deal and a placental capsule recommendation, while also serving as a lightning rod for people who snub her on social media.

During her interview with Vogue, Coleen opened up about her relationship with Becky before the argument.

She explained they were “in the same world” – so the thought would protect the privacy of the family equally.

Coleen added: “We bonded because our husbands played together for England. She wasn’t a friend.”

“I never socialized with her. I’ve never had a drink with her.”

Coleen confessed that she hadn’t even forwarded her tweet to a legal team, so was immediately shocked when Rebekah threatened to involve lawyers.

She added: “I’ve never been in a legal battle so it was scary for me. What I feared most was going to court.”

“It was so difficult in that courtroom, especially watching her on the stand. It was pretty painful. I felt uncomfortable.”
