In the clip, he told his army of followers, “It’s the official launch day of my trading community.”

“If you’re not already signed in, sign in now. What are you waiting for? The group is completely free.

“Now there are only 250 spots left, after that I cut down.”

“I showed you last week I made over £700, this week I’ve already made £2.3k – that’s a total of £4k in weeks.”

“If I can do it, so can you.

“The group is completely free. We’ll start you off with a demo account, so you don’t need money to join, nor money to get started.”

“All you have to do is click the link, join the group and get involved. What are you waiting for?”

“Whether you’re looking for a second income, a side hustle or a main income, this allows you to live the life you want and opens doors to luxury.”

“Whatever you need it for, that’s the answer.

“I promise you, I’ve been doing this for a long time, I’ve gotten back into it because it’s so beneficial and lucrative — it’s easy.”

“Like I said, if I can do it, so can you.”

Fans were quick to spot Lock’s miscalculations and labeled his deal a “scam.”

One person said: “Imagine promoting your own trading company but couldn’t figure out what £700 plus £2300 is.”

“Guy can’t even add £700 + £2300 but wants you to sign up for a trading account. This is a scam, they get commission for signing you with brokers,” wrote a second.

A third wrote: “700 + 2300 = 4k…says it all…stick to reality TV IMO.”

A fourth said: “This is a scam, don’t do it!”

James rose to fame in 2013 with the eighth season of The Only Way Is Essex.

But that’s not the only reality show the hunk has starred in.
