Aoki Simmons doesn’t regret beating up Father Russell Simmons
Aoki Lee Simmons has no regrets about defending her mother, Kimora Lee Simmons, after her father insulted her on social media a few months ago.
“I have no regrets,” Aoki said in Teen Vogue. “Some of it was already out there. There were reasons why I thought it made sense to release it because it was happening in a silent bubble.”
After his daughter Ming Lee thanked his ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons on Father’s Day, he slammed his daughters. His daughter Aoki then accused him of abusing her mother and that he had ruined her career.
Weeks after their online back and forth, Russell posted a message to his daughter Ming Lee on his Instagram page.
He posted a video in which he is seen next to Ming Lee and they both look happy and smile directly into the camera.
“When times are tough, smile and breathe, keep your heads up yogis. “God got you again, just like he got you last time,” Simmons captioned the post.
