Apple may have recently refreshed its AirPods lineup with the launch of the new Pro model, but its older earbuds still offer plenty of features for less money. That’s been the case with the second-gen AirPods for quite a while, but with Walmart and Amazon currently selling them for just $79, there’s never been a better time to snag a pair. That’s a $80 off price and $10 less than Black Friday 2021. Stock appears to be limited so you may need to act quickly.

If you haven’t been paying a lot of attention to Apple’s wireless earbuds, AirPods have become one of the most popular buds in the room since they first appeared. They pair seamlessly with Apple products and switch between them easily, with your iOS device recognizing them the moment you open the case. Audio playback also switches based on the device you’re using. That means you can easily switch from taking a call on your iPhone to listening to music from your MacBook.

Keep in mind that the model for sale today comes with the Lightning charging case, not the wireless one. This shouldn’t be a big problem, but make sure you check before adding it to your cart. Although it’s been over three years since the second-gen AirPods debuted, these buds are super value at this $79 retail price.
