Arrested in shooting for allegedly pointing gun at his wife and six-month-old daughter!!

Rapper Gunplay has been arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun at his wife while she was holding their six-month-old daughter during a heated argument.

Gunplay, real name Richard Morales Jr., was arrested on multiple charges including assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and child molestation. The rapper’s bail was set at $20,000.

Gunplay was reportedly upset when his wife asked him to turn down the volume on his XBox game.

His wife, Vonshae Taylor-Morales, released a statement confirming that she and their young daughter are safe.

“I just want everyone to know that my daughter and I are safe,” she wrote in the statement posted to Instagram. “My daughter’s safety is my top priority. Unfortunately, Richard is back to drinking and has a very bad drinking problem. I tried everything in my power to help and love him. This is a demon he must defeat alone. At this point, I truly believe it’s too late.”

She continued: “To summarize the event last night. I asked Richard to calm down while he scared the sleeping baby by screaming and playing Call of Duty. He started attacking me because I asked him to be quiet. I was trying to collect a bag so my daughter and I can go into a room while he gets sober. He didn’t want us to leave and things went away quickly. He was arrested last night, the gun is in police custody. I have a restraining order, my daughter is in my custody and I am filing for divorce. He’ll never get the chance to respect us again. Thank you everyone for the good wishes and prayers. It’s a very traumatic experience. Please keep me in your prayers.”
