ARSENAL star Gabriel Jesus has revealed he has decided to leave Manchester City after Pep Guardiola made him cry.

The Brazilian had to call his mother Vera as he was devastated to learn he would not be playing a crucial Champions League game.

Jesus was called up for City’s group stage game against Paris Saint-Germain in November 2021.

The striker came on as a substitute and scored the winning goal, the game ended 2-1.

But he told him Denilson show In the podcast, it was at this point that he decided that he wanted to leave the club.

Jesus said: “There was a Champions League game, PSG at home, that he played in [Oleksandr] Zinchenko as a false nine. crazy thing

“He didn’t even use it the day before [Zinchenko] He used me as a striker in training.

“Zinchenko even joked with me, ‘I felt sorry for you that day.’

“Two hours before the game there is a team talk, the team eats, rests for 30 minutes and goes to the game. He told us the crew I didn’t even eat.”

“I went right into the room and cried, I called my mom to say, ‘I want to go.’

“I’m going home because he said [Zinchenko] on and he didn’t dress me. He hired a left-back there. I’m freaking out

“There was a lot of that with him [Guardiola] and it’s not easy. It’s really hard.

“That’s when I decided I didn’t want to stay anymore and decided to leave.”

Jesus also explained that despite his impact as a substitute, he still hasn’t played in the next major European game against RB Leipzig.

The 26-year-old spent five and a half years at Man City, scoring 95 goals for the club.

He won four Premier League titles before joining Arsenal last summer.

Jesus scored 11 goals in 33 games in his debut season with the Gunners after surviving knee surgery that sidelined him for months after the World Cup.
