Asda shoppers rush to buy ‘absolute bargain’ Disney set scanning for just £2.50 at tills

ASDA fans have spotted a bargain Disney kitchen set being scanned for as little as £2.50.

The Disney Mickey Mouse Togetherness dinner set – which includes 12 plates and bowls – typically costs £35.

This deal means the set is £32.50 cheaper.

It includes four dinner plates, four side dishes and four bowls – each in red and white with a picture of Mickey Mouse and friends to decorate.

Posted to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, the shopper shared a photo and wrote: “Asda Fleetwood £2.50 each absolute bargain”.

Others in the comments tagged their friends, with one reply: “Trip to Asda?”

Another simple way is: “I want”.

And another said: “check guna when I go down a bit”.

When we reviewed it, the set was still available for £35 online, so you’re better off visiting Asda in person.

To check out the nearest store, be sure to use the locator on that store’s website.

But keep in mind that the discount may not be available in all stores, and the item may already be sold out.

We recommend calling ahead to avoid disappointment.

And remember don’t buy it just for the sake of it – you won’t save money that way. It’s only worth it if you want one to start with.

But don’t put all your eggs in one basket either – it’s best to wander around the other supermarkets to see what bargains they have, too.

You can use price comparison tools like Google Shopping or the Latest Deals app to help you find items.

We couldn’t find anything cheaper than Asda’s deal, but we did find the Ditsy Flower 12-Piece Dinner Set from Dunelm for £17.50 – 30% off.

This one also features four dinner plates, four side plates and four bowls, this time decorated with flowers.

But it will cost you £3.95 to have a set delivered – so you should also visit in person.

You can also find the nearest Dunelm using the locator on the company’s website.

Elsewhere, B&M shoppers have found a “beautiful” feather foot lamp for just £10, down from £28.

B&M describes the home appliance as “gorgeous” and says it “provides great light in any room”.

Its dimensions are approximately 30 x 30 x 62cm and carry an E27 bulb.

Unfortunately you won’t be able to buy it online but it is available in stores.
