At least two dead and 30 injured as bus flips on bend leaving passengers trapped

AT LEAST two were killed and 30 injured after a bus overturned on a bend, trapping passengers.
A tour bus in Thailand with more than 60 passengers overturned near Turtle Mountain’s “100 body corner”.
According to reports, two people died and more than 30 were injured in the horrific accident.
The injured were first treated at nearby hospitals before being transferred to the regional hospital in Kanchanaburi province.
The dead were a man and a woman, but the health of the estimated 30 passengers injured is still unclear.
Officials from the area joined national park officials and several members of the Kanchan Foundation, who brought cutting tools and blankets to transport the injured to nearby hospitals for initial treatment.
Kanchanaburi Provincial Governor Colonel Thotsaphon Chaiyakomin and Srisawat District Chief Thanayot Hirunyanetr immediately dispatched rescue workers to help with the situation.
The bus was carrying the 60 tourists from Ang Thong province to Tha Kradan area in Srisawat district when the nightmarish accident happened.
