Atletico Madrid are eyeing Joao Felix who wants a £215,000-a-week swap for Arsenal striker

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with Joao Felix and Dusan Vlahovic but a report in CMW suggests the Gunners could miss both the Atletico Madrid attacker and the Juventus striker.

Arsenal linked with Joao Felix and Dusan Vlahovic

Arsenal are looking to sign Vlahovic from Juventus in the January transfer window, according to The Times.

The Gunners are considering signing a new forward following Gabriel Jesus’ injury.

Jesus is on the sidelines at the moment after the former Manchester City striker picked up an injury while playing for Brazil at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The report added that the £215,000-a-week (SalarySport) Vlahovic himself is open to leaving Juventus mid-season, despite only joining the Turin club from Serie A rivals Fiorentina in January 2022.

AS reported this month that Arsenal are interested in Felix, while 90min have claimed Chelsea, Manchester United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Paris Saint-Germain all want the Portugal international, who can act as a striker, winger or attacking midfielder.

However, Arsenal could take a hit in their attempt to sign Felix and Vlahovic in one go, according to a report from CMW.

The Italian news outlet have claimed that Atletico are interested in signing Vlahovic and ready to send Felix to Juventus in a swap deal.

It’s not clear now how Juventus would react but Feliz is a very good and promising young striker and the former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners could be tempted.

Arsenal could take a double whammy in a single transfer.
