Authorities seek missing 2-month-old infant from La Puente

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a missing 2-month-old infant who is believed to be hiding with his parents, authorities said.

Sayvee Torres, who was born on New Year’s Eve, is listed as a Vulnerable Missing Person, the Sheriff’s Department said in a news release late Monday night.

Her parents, Breanna Torres and Oscar Morales, have the child and have not disclosed her whereabouts, according to authorities. Sayvee Torres is 1 foot tall and weighs 10 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

The sheriff’s department said there were “concerns” for Sayvee’s well-being, but authorities didn’t respond to follow-up questions about why she was listed as missing and at risk.

She was last seen on Jan. 24 at her mother’s home on the 800 block of Eldon Avenue in La Puente, the sheriff’s department said.
