BoB has responded to a $3 million lawsuit filed against him by his former manager.
“I did not see the lawsuit but am aware that my former manager made arrangements without my knowledge,” BoB told TMZ. “I take my business seriously and I look forward to finding out the truth about what happened.”
Round Hill Music and Artists Rights Management accused the rapper of violating a 2017 deal claiming the rapper would pay them royalties for his shows.
“In a willful breach of the assignment agreement, defendants prevented plaintiffs from collecting the royalties that plaintiffs are contractually entitled to collect,” according to the lawsuit received by Billboard. “Plaintiffs are now bringing this action to reduce their security interests to judgment and to seek damages they suffered as a result of the defendants’ willful and willful breach of the Assignment Agreement for a total of at least $3,000,000, along with attorneys’ fees, costs and expenses. ”
