Back to the Future 2 DeLorean Poster by Tom Whalen & Bottleneck

Everyone has their favorite pop culture vehicle, But To me, few are as cool as the Delorean out Back to the Future Part II. Sure the original is awesomeand the weastern flair the third is smooth, but we’re talking flying, Mr. Fusion-have neonLighting-buzzing version taking Marty, Doc and Jennifer Back to the future of 2015. It’s iconic.

That’s certainly why Bottleneck Gallery and Vice Press are collaborating with one of io9 favorite artist, tom whalesto pay homage to that best time machine in the business with brand new poster. It comes in three versions, all of which go on sale Friday, March 24 at 12 p.m. EST Flaschenhalsgallerie.com.

Here is the normal version. It is a 36 x 24 inch screen print in a hand numbered edition of 150. It costs $60.

This is the variant, a 36″ x 24″ screenprint in a hand-numbered edition of 75. It costs $70.

After all, this is something very special. It’s the aluminum version. It comes on a 2mm thick aluminum plate, also 36 x 24 inches, but this is one edition only 30. It costs $200 and is literally heavy.

In each one you can tell that Whalen really did their homework, focusing on every little detail and giving their favorites a proper showcase to go with the vehicle itself. See more detail shots here.
