But many have begun to take notice after a baggage handler filmed himself loading bags onto a plane.

Chris Simonsson, known as “wheos_ _” on TikTok, often posts videos about his day-to-day life as a baggage handler.

In a recent video, Chris showed his followers how to pack 110 bags in the belly of an airplane.

He begins by unrolling a roll that will help transport the bags from the entrance to the back of the plane.

Chris then does a few push-ups before beginning to stack the bags to fill the space in the hold.

The time-lapse video moves slowly through the plane as he continues to methodically load the bags.

Along the way, Chris stops to quickly drape over a suitcase until he gives a big thumbs up at the camera once he’s finished stacking the bags.

The viral video had over 7.8 million views and more than 300,000 likes.

Thousands of users took to the comments to share their surprise and horror at the bag stacking process.

Some people were shocked at how the hold actually looked.

One person wrote, “I never expected it to look so weird.”

While another person added, “I’ve always wondered how they pack all that luggage on a plane.”

A third said: “I didn’t realize they had to be wrapped like that.”

But for some the space was too small and cramped and thought it would wreak havoc on their phobias.

One person wrote: “I would feel claustrophobic doing this job.”

While someone else chimed in, “My claustrophobia kicks in just watching this video.”

This isn’t the first time a baggage handler has revealed how baggage is stored on an airplane.

Others have compared luggage stacking to a real game of Tetris.

Meanwhile, another baggage handler took to TikTok to explain how vacationers should pack their bags to avoid damaging their belongings.

A baggage handler gave five tips for safe baggage storage.
