Baldur’s Gate 3 Launch Livestream Reveals Wild Druid Bear Sex
Recently Larian Studios – the developers behind the popular Divinity: original sin Games commissioned with the daunting prospect to continue the legacy of Baldur’s gate series, some of the most iconic dungeons Games ever made – made a fuss about it extent of his game. More dialogue than Lord of the rings! Cutscenes longer than game of Thrones! I’m not interested in these things. I’m into literally wild sex with pretty druids.
Luckily, today’s Panel From Hell livestream from Larian, which offers a pre-release look at the game following an extensive Early Access period early next month, confirmed that players can get just that. We take a closer look at several love scenes for players to experience Baldur’s Gate 3Larian demonstrated two encounters at pretty much opposite ends of the raunchy spectrum in casting the characters. The first saw a Dragonborn player character – one of the 11 options of dungeons 5th editionthe system that drives BG3s Mechanic, Available – Date Karlach Demonsbane, a female Tiefling barbarian, in the eponymous Sword Coast town and indulge in a cute little restaurant.
The other saw one of the playable party members that players can select in lieu of a custom character, Astarion (a High Elf vampire), escaping the city for a nocturnal forest encounter with party member Halsin, a Wood Elf druid . Much to the delight of the audience watching live, the scene quickly saw both men undress for a moment of intimacy… before Halsin, while being overcome with lust, lost control of his Druidic abilities and wildly shaped into a bear for a moment.
Be dungeons Since the game is about being able to make any choice, the scene could have played out a number of ways: the player can back out, deterred by Halsin’s lack of control; they can comfort him and continue their romantic encounter; or they can… ask him to transform back into a bear. What do you think the audience chose? “Have you ever thought about the joys and pleasures of intercourse with a wild-crafted druid?” Adam Smith, lead author of Baldur’s Gate 3, said in a statement sent via press release. “Because with Larian, we made it and ultimately landed on the side of giving people what they want: a tender, consensual romance with a man temporarily transformed into a grizzly bear.”
Yes. Though the stream cut off anything too raunchy, if you play your cards right, that’s exactly what will happen. Ridiculous lewdness aside, this is a far more interesting factoid Baldur’s Gate 3 than the expansiveness of its script or the length of its cutscenes, which rivals other mainstream fantasy epics. As someone already very impressed I can get by with the version of the game that has evolved over the course of Early Access Baldur’s Gate 3 for a virtual dungeons Experience: a sense of freedom and player influence, a playground for amazing and absurd stories turned upside down by open battle choices or tight dice dialogue testing. The best thing about playing a tabletop RPG is the potential of all of those things intersecting – an avid gamer and storyteller, a mechanical game box and the luck of the dice – to give you an unforgettable story to tell your friends afterwards. something that could have happened only to you and your character in that moment.
Sometimes this thing can befriend a bear, which sometimes is actually a bear. And the fact that it’s in there somewhere Baldur’s Gate 3The 170+ hours of cutscenes are far more fascinating to me than the fact that they are longer than any season of game of Thrones twice.
Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released on PC on August 3rd, before launching on PlayStation 5 on September 6th.
