Bam Margera On Ventilator After Being Hospitalized With Pneumonia
‘Jackass’ star Bam Margera was reportedly hospitalized and put on a ventilator after contracting pneumonia.
Sources told TMZ he was admitted earlier this week and tested positive for COVID-19 at the hospital. He is currently in stable condition in intensive care.
Bam, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has struggled with mental health issues and addiction, has been in rehab all year.
He was granted a temporary health guardian in August.
“It’s no secret that Bam has struggled with mental health and addiction. You watched Bam grow up and supported him through his ups and downs,” Bam’s family wrote at the time. “While we love to share our lives with you, some things need to be private and treatment is one of them. Recovery is difficult and is even more under public scrutiny.”
