‘Basketball Wives’ alum apologizes for disregarding Yung Joc

A former Basketball Wives star has apologized for disregarding Yung Joc during an interview and accused him of being a one-hit wonder.

“First of all I want to apologize to @joclive, my intention was to disrespect you during my podcast interview,” former Basketball Wives star Meghan James wrote on Instagram. “I’ve been genuinely interested in your journey and how you’ve managed to stay relevant over the years. Thank you for taking the time to show your love to the podcast @thehollywoodgroupchat!!”

During the interview, Meghan asked, “So Joc, how did you manage to sustain a 20-year career in one fell swoop?”

Joc replied: “Great question, well I have more than one hit. I have hit records!”

Speaking to The Shade Room, Joc revealed he found the question offensive.

“People have been shadowing me, that’s nothing new,” Joc told The Shade Room. “It’s just that you all get a chance to see it from someone you might not be that familiar with, so it’s like, ‘Oooh, the nerve.’ And that’s how I felt too. Shawty hit me so far below the belt I was like, ‘Damn. I didn’t even come here to interview your ass.” I really came to see someone else.”
