But Jon, 53, was missing from the famous red sofa.

As a result, 51-year-old Sally hosted the morning show alone, bringing viewers the latest news.

The news reporter did not explain why Jon was missing.

Sally looked stunning as always in a nude monochrome elegant outfit that consisted of a simple t-shirt and a double-breasted fitted blazer.

Her ash brown and blonde highlighted tresses were styled in loose waves with volume.

Sally made sure to keep her makeup bright and radiant, using only blush, mascara, a touch of black eyeliner to give her a smokey eye look, and lip gloss.

Jon usually hosts the show alongside Sally from Monday to Wednesday, before Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty take over until Saturday.

Due to a change in BBC hosting, many regular stars have been away from the studio recently.

Jon has been missing from the studio several times recently for no apparent reason, but there is evidence that he has been busy.

This comes after the popular BBC Breakfast star recently stunned fans after announcing on social media that he had “a new job” – but not all is as it seems.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, the news journalist let his followers know what he’s doing when he does it “not present”.
