Becky Vardy humiliated husband Jamie racking up £3m court bill and now she’s splashing cash on lavish holidays
Spare a thought for poor old JAMIE VARDY.
Not content with humiliating him in the silliest high court battle of the century against Coleen Rooney – and racking up a bill of more than £3million in the process – delusional wife Becky His is currently rubbing salt in the wound with a string of expensive exotic vacations and lavish lifestyle choices that have understandably raised eyebrows among his friends.

Jamie is entering the final stages of his career at Leicester City, currently in the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League last year, with the former England striker spending most of his time shivering on the substitutes’ bench. Attractive hot spots like Rotherham, Blackburn. and this weekend it’s Middlesborough.
And while Becky regularly features in his Premier League matches, where she enjoys the full Wag treatment, I’m told she has little interest in making the trek to second-tier football .
Instead, she threw herself into a new partying lifestyle while he sat in the pouring rain on a Tuesday night.
As one friend told me: “He must be tearing his hair out. It’s like she learned nothing – their legal bills are huge and she just flaunts her wealth and lavish vacations.”
Recent indulgences that Becky has posted online include a trip to Las Vegas with friends, where she got VIP tickets to see Adele and Usher’s residency, along with seats at Magic Mike Live.
She also posed nude on the balcony of her room at the luxury five-star Cosmopolitan hotel overlooking the strip.
During the same trip, she was photographed getting a tattoo.
Three weeks ago, she jetted to Dubai, with friends who said she wanted to avoid rival Coleen’s Disney+ documentary about their trial.
While there, she took more photos at a luxury hotel.
In August, she posted photos of her five-star trip to Portugal.
During Wagatha Christie’s trial, Coleen’s lawyer complained that Becky had asked for more time to pay her bills.
While she was in Portugal, Jamie was preparing to enter the new season, the last of his two-year contract, so his future was up in the air.
The friend added: “He was fighting desperately to keep going and make the big bucks while she blew it almost as fast as she could, and he was about to end his deal .
“She didn’t seem to know how much money she was spending and what that really meant.”
I did a quick calculation for her.
Jamie earns £140,000 a week, just over £7million a year, but half of that goes tax.
That means if he doesn’t spend another penny this year he’ll still only be able to pay the costs of her ridiculous trial – and they already have a lavish lifestyle.
That means this poor guy will have to find himself a new, very well-paying contract for next season and beyond, and will probably keep playing until he’s about 53 years old.
If I were Jamie’s agent, I’d call straight to Saudi Arabia’s hugely lucrative new league to ask if he could fly there to earn megabucks alongside former Premier League stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Jordan Henderson and Steven Gerrard, who is currently the player director.
They’ll pay him a lot of money and Becky will stay out of trouble for once.

VERNON FEET IT
AFTER nine weeks of training and two months of abstinence, Radio 2’s Vernon Kay today begins the giant Children In Need ultra-marathon challenge, which will see him run 110 miles in four days.
He is traveling from Leicester to his hometown of Bolton in one of the station’s most physically difficult fundraisers to date.

From the hotel last night, Vernon told me: “I’m very nervous.
“In addition to traveling over 110 miles, the altitude we were doing was quite high.
“I have three and a half suitcases filled with all the clothes I need for every weather.
“I have more underwear than any man could dream of, Vaseline for my nipples and everywhere else.
“I’ve heard about groin rot, when you get wet and keep running, so I’m ready for anything.”
Vernon was being cheered on at home by his wife, Tess Daly, who raised more than £1 million with co-star Claudia Winkleman after dancing for 24 hours straight.
“Tess said to me, ‘You’re crazy to do that,’” Vernon said.
“She did a 24-hour dance competition and her calves and back gave her a lot of muscle even a year later, so she was determined.”
“I have to take care of myself.”

THE FILMING IS NOT GREAT, BRIE
I’ve long been tired of the constant cycle of superhero movies – and now audiences seem to feel the same way.
The latest film, The Marvels, made just £38m in its first weekend in the US, the lowest opening for any film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The new film, which also stars Zawe Ashton, is said to have been hit by an actors’ strike, which has just ended and means the actors are unable to promote the film on social media. talk show as well as in other interviews.
It also received rave reviews from critics.
There’s a long way to go to make up for the whopping £179 million spent on its production.
THE GREAT BEATLES FOR ALBUM NO1
THE BEATLES could achieve a chart double this Friday as they are on track to secure a No.1 album.
Having topped the singles chart with their final tune Now And Then, the Fab Four are in the lead to claim their 17th number one album, according to data from Official Charts.

The reissue of their first greatest hits collection, 1967-1970, commonly known as the Blue Album, is aiming for No. 1, after peaking at No. 2 when released in 1973.
Just 1,000 copies sold was their second biggest hit record, 1962-1966, called the Red Album, which peaked at number 3, also in 1973.
The boxset of both albums is also climbing the chart, coming in at number 9 last night.
Even 63 years after their founding, there’s still no stopping them.

Former SLIPKNOT drummer Jay Weinberg said he was “heartbroken and stunned” to be mercilessly dropped from the group after a decade.
The heavy metal band surprisingly announced this month that he would no longer be a member of the group due to creative differences.
