Ben Franklin Bridge accident: Eastbound lanes reopens after trailer tips over on Pennsylvania side

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The eastbound lanes of the Ben Franklin Bridge were reopened after a truck trailer overturned, according to the Delaware River Port Authority.

It happened around 11 a.m. Monday on the Pennsylvania side of the bridge.

Chopper 6’s video showed scrap metal strewn all over the street.

Emergency crews cleared the scene just before 4 p.m

There was no information on the cause of the accident.

Officials say no injuries have been reported.
