The latest strange twist is that the White House could ease sanctions on Venezuela and its dictator Nicolás Maduro in an effort to increase the supply of oil in the global market.

The magazine reports that the US is “preparing to reduce the scale of sanctions” on Venezuela’s bad regime to Chevron Corp can continue to pump oil.
