Joy spread across 13-month-old Grace’s face as she smiled and stuck her tongue out over the cover photo. Her little fingers are clutching her mother as she stands and shows off her blue floral shorts and Australia Zoo’s small khaki button-down shirt with her name embroidered on the right pocket – and my heart couldn’t be cuter! There is also a small painting on the cover of the late Steve Irwin holding baby Bindi, and Grace could be her twin.

Bindi, who shares Grace with husband Chandler Powell, shared the images from the photo session on Instagram today, writing: “My brother’s amazing photos of the beautiful Grace Warrior. She brings so much light to our lives. This @people issue means the world to me. Thank you for sharing our family journey.” He has some serious talent! The mother-daughter duo looks extremely radiant in the photos.

Bindi has posted about Grace’s favorite animal in the past, including a video of her and Grace watching turtles in December 2021. “Laughing turtle. Absolutely loved spending time with Igloo,” she wrote. “Grace was mesmerized by this gentle giant. ”

It’s easy to spot where she has her love for animals, as there’s also a photo of Bindi as a girl poses next to a turtle.

Robert, just 18 years old, also shared the photos on his Instagram today. “I am so proud and delighted to have had the opportunity to photograph my wonderful niece for the cover of @people magazine,” he wrote.

He often takes pictures of Irwins that Bindi posts on her Instagram. Some of his most recent include Grace, Bindi, her mother, Terri Irwin, and Powell on a grassy hill, where he filmed.

“It is a huge honor for me as a passionate photographer and it is so special to celebrate the next generation of Wildlife Warriors with little Grace!” Robert added in the caption on his Instagram. “This new addition is out on Friday, be sure to check it out 😊.” Bindi commented on her brother’s post, writing, “We love you so much.”

“I have been a passionate wildlife photographer for many years, but portraiture is a new experience,” says Robert. Everyone. He added, “I’m the proudest uncle!”

Bindi also talks about Grace’s obsession with the iconic khaki that the zoo keepers wear. “Our current fight is that if you don’t wear khaki, Grace will be quite unusual,” said Bindi Everyone. “Living in the zoo, where we have a family of 400, all wearing khaki, if she sees someone who isn’t wearing it, she’ll say, ‘You’re so new and different.
