Black Ink Crew’s Ceaser Emanuel claims viral video of him abusing his dog was staged and his dogs are happy.

TMZ caught up with Ceaser, who claimed his dogs fought and he was just trying to separate them. Ceaser says one of his dogs attacked him, so he hit him with a metal chair.

VH1 has already fired him from the show.

“We have made the decision to sever ties with Ceaser Emanuel from Black Ink Crew New York,” VH1 wrote in a statement posted to Facebook. “With production nearing completion for next season, this decision will have no impact on the upcoming season.”

Ceaser’s attorney, Walter Mosley, released a statement, which said: “Ceaser is an avid dog lover and has many dogs and has had many dogs and other pets in his life. From what I understand this was an unfortunate situation with a number of other aggressive dogs attacking smaller dogs and it was probably a misjudgment of how to appropriately break up that interaction.
