Black Panther actress Leticia Wright has come out as gay, Media Take Out has learned. There have long been rumors that the beautiful actress who played Shuri in the Marvel movies is gay.
As reported by Media Take Out, Letiicia is finding it difficult to come to terms with her sexuality, especially given that she is a devout and practicing Christian.
Now it seems that Leticia has finally come out to live the life she’s struggled with – as an open lesbian.
Leticia was spotted with a group of her gay friends at a Kehlani concert yesterday. She wore a comfortable, baggy, shiny dress with loose-fitting jeans and sunglasses. And her friends all wore loose shirts and jeans. She brought her new friend to the concert.

Leticia Wright began her career with guest roles on the television series Top Boy, Coming Up, Chasing Shadows, Humans, Doctor Who and Black Mirror. For the latter, she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. She got her big break with her role in the 2015 film Urban Hymn.[1] For this, Wright was included in the 2015 BAFTA Breakthrough Brits group by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).
In 2018, she gained worldwide recognition for her portrayal of Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Black Panther, for which she won an NAACP Image Award and a SAG Award. She reprized the role in Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). In 2019 she received the BAFTA Rising Star Award. She also appeared in Steve McQueen’s 2020 anthology series Small Ax, which earned her a Satellite Award nomination.
