Black Twitter Launches Petition To Unload Two IG Influencers, ‘Dancing Gorilla’ And ‘Chicken Boy’!

Two of the most popular TikTok influencers are on the verge of cancellation after thousands of people started a petition on Black Twitter to ban the performers.

The first performer Black Twitter wants to cancel is a bodybuilder and dancer named Big Groove. Big Groove posts a series of videos of him eating and dancing in restaurants. He used to go by the name “Grooving Gorilla” but changed his name after backlash.

People on Black Twitter are angered by his antics and say the images he posts hurt black people because they play on negative stereotypes. On Black Twitter, they refer to Big Groove as “the dancing gorilla”.

Here is a selection of his videos:

And the other TikToker under fire is a comedian named Elijah Smith, nicknamed Officialyuddygangtv. In Yuddygang’s videos, he eats food – typically chicken – and makes funny noises.

Black Twitter refers to Elijah as a “Chicken Boy”.

Black Twitter really got into an uproar when the two influencers collaborated – where they danced and made noises while eating chicken and waffles. See:

Earlier this year, a self-proclaimed social media “activist” created a petition on Change.org in an attempt to “ban” two social media influencers. Thousands of people have signed the petition so far, and as of today, both Big Groove and Muddy are trending on Twitter.

But not everyone wants to ban the two influencers. Hip-hop star Cardi B comes to her defense. Cardi, who has made a name for herself by forcing stereotypical behavior on young women, claims the influencers are “just trying to get paid.”
