So if your house needs an upgrade but you want to save yourself some money if you can, you need to pay attention.

But you'll need to act fast if you want to buy one, as savvy shopper Gareth Richards took to Facebook to show off his bargain, much to the shock of many.

One savvy shopper, Gareth Richards, had heard of the discounted sideboard at B&M and was keen on owning it.

Dropped from £120 to just £40, Gareth went to four B&Ms in the hope of finding discounted homewares.

Luckily for the discount hunter, he was able to get the item cheap and then proudly posted it on social media to show off his sale, leaving many completely stunned.

“When you drive to four different B&Ms hoping to find a sideboard that costs as little as £40,” he says.

“Started to give up hope, then burst into hiding behind tables and chairs.

“Scream like a girl, then treat yourself to some lanterns – £4 and £10.

“Getting the rattan lanterns is necessary, just not £40/£50 each.”

Gareth is finally able to get his hands on the Urban Paradise Side Cabinet – an extremely versatile and stylish piece of furniture that can be used in a bedroom, living room or dining room.

It’s a great storage solution for all kinds of items, from toys and games to occasional decorations and more.

Gareth then shared a photo of the sideboard in his home, as he later noted: “Still sorting things out but very happy with it.

“Easy to assemble, good quality and served a lot of purposes for what I needed.”

Gareth shared his post just 20 hours ago, but it clearly impressed many, as it received 954 likes and 88 comments.

Social media users were amazed at Gareth’s cheap find and were eager to express this in the comments.

One person said: “Oh, a happy ending… that’s right.”

Another added: “Awesome, well done.”

A third commented: “LOVE THIS, never seen it before!”

While another chimed in: “You made a great find and finally found your bargain mate.”

At the same time, a Facebook user tagged a friend and declared, “We need that sideboard.”
