Specialized search teams were called into the property after a special call from a police chief yielded no clues to Bradley’s whereabouts.

Wiltshire Police said: “Officers searching for missing Swindon man Bradley Porter have found a body today.

“Extensive searches took place in the Elgin Industrial Estate area this morning.

“Although formal identification has not yet taken place, Bradley’s family have been informed of the latest development. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.”

Deputy Chief Constable Deb Smith said: “Our thoughts are with Bradley’s family. We have deployed specially trained officers to support them.

“I would like to thank everyone who has provided us with information since Bradley was reported missing to us.”

An autopsy will take place.

Police have not announced whether the death is being treated as suspicious.
