Boosie Badazz remembers the time Pimp C saved him from prison

In a recent interview, Bosie Badazz opened up about the time late UGK rapper Pimp C saved him from jail.

Boosie says he’ll be charged with stealing a car.

“I was 17, I was in jail on a charge of auto theft, I had to stay 90 days, and he came and got me out of jail. I called my mom and my mom said, ‘A guy called Pimp C and these guys are trying to get you out of jail, boy. You know Pimp C?’ I’m like, “Yeah, I know Pimp C!” A few days later, I don’t know, they pulled some strings and got me out of there. I liked the 60 days they got me out and the rest is history,” he told the Breakfast Club hosts.

He continued: “We rode around, ate and smoked some weed. Relaxed, talked to me. Got in the studio, did a few songs… The point is, Pimp C was the decoy. I thought I would sign with Pimp C, I thought he was the CEO because he was so close with them I thought he was the big dog because it was Trill Entertainment. Trill is Pimp C, so I found out he wasn’t on the papers, but I thought he was my CEO the whole time.”

Pimp C was found dead in his hotel room on December 4, 2007, due to complications from heavy purple drink consumption and his pre-existing sleep apnea.
