From January through December, we’re definitely in for a treat with the return and premieres of 11 and countless Netflix shows that celebrate and represent love in so many different ways. Whether it’s best friend relationships, want-her-or-not-her romances that drive us insane, or young love for teen shows, it’s all coming our way this year.
Since early 2023, Netflix has already launched the latest season of Ginny and Georgia as well as the second and final season of sex/life. Netflix will soon be releasing new seasons of fan-favorite shows, such as Sweet Magnolias, Bridgerton, And virgin river, as well as the last seasons of both Firefly Lane And I have never.

The hilarious stand-up comedian, actress and Netflix host The circle Michelle Buteau brings her talents to the streamer’s latest romantic comedy series Survival of the fattest. Buteau is the writer, executive producer and lead actor of the screenplay comedy also based on her essay book of the same name.
In survival of the fattest, Buteau plays Mavis Beaumont, a recently single stylist trying to find success in all aspects of her life, including her professional and personal life. Mavis has a tight circle of friends and a physically positive attitude that gets her through the ups and downs that come with all those unexpected surprises.
The eight-episode first season also stars Tone Bell, Christine Horn, Tasha Smith and guest star Garcelle Beauvais. It’s likely to be one of the funniest, funniest, most fun Netflix shows of the year.
