Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor reveals she learned ‘hard lesson’ while dating Pete Davidson

In one (n Interview with Ellethe actress reflected on their time together, sharing how the high-profile relationship changed her and how she interacted with the public.

“It’s just naive again – I didn’t think anyone would care,” said Dynevor, 28. “I was just a young woman dating, and somehow it sparks a conversation.”

“There were a lot of hard lessons I had to learn by basically just living my personal life,” the actress added.

Davidson and Dynevor were first linked in early 2021 before publicly dating at Wimbledon in July.

“You realize, ‘Oh, I can’t live my life like I used to. I need to keep my cards a little closer to my chest,'” the actress continued. “For example, there was a time when I would post everything on my Instagram, and now I’m very, very careful about what I put out into the world.”

“People will make up whatever story they want from a few pictures, that’s fine,” Dynevor said, referring to photos taken by the paparazzi. “I had to learn to let things go and let them go over my head instead of having the normal reaction of saying, ‘But that’s not true and that didn’t happen.'”

“You have to let go and concentrate on the work. I’m really just here to act. I love my job so much and it was strange for me that attention was taken away from my work,” the actress concluded.
