More acts took the stage tonight in hopes of once again impressing the judges and earning a spot in the finals.

After the first act had completed its performance, it was time for the judges to give their feedback.

However, minutes into the show, viewers were seriously distracted by Simon Cowell making strange cat noises into the microphone while Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon voiced their criticisms.

The bizarre stunt even forced Ant and Dec to pause on stage and ask Simon to stop so they could talk to the contestants.

Those watching at home were stunned and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “Oh my god is Simon actually alright?”

A second added: “Simon mocks Alesha and Amanda and criticizes them as if he didn’t just slander them himself.”

A third asked: “Sorry Simon is on drugs?”

A fourth quipped: “Simon lost it!!”

A fifth wrote: “Somebody needs to check on Simon. What the hell?”
